GD10 Rosskopf

A new ropeway era began at Rosskopf in Sterzing in December 2022. Very near to LEITNER’s headquarters, the resort’s  6 passenger gondola lift, which was commissioned right back in 1987, has now been replaced by a modern 10 passenger gondola system. The GD10 Rosskopf travels along exactly the same route, including the wellknown crossing of the Brenner freeway, and has been equipped with the eco-friendly, maintenance-friendly LEITNER DirectDrive and new Premium Diamond EVO Premium cabins. This ropeway is especially quiet and easy on resources due to its direct drive system. Its 65 cabins offer exceptionally comfortable seating and a unique, all-round viewing experience. New buildings and architectural touches have been included. New stations buildings were completed at the top and bottom of the ropeway when the gondola lift was built. The bottom station also has space for new offices for Sterzing Tourist Board.
