GD10 Hoadlbahn I + II

In 2022, Axamer Lizum set about modernizing things comprehensively with a view to sustainability and more comfort. At the former Olympics venue close to the state capital of Innsbruck, a new gondola lift was built over two sections with an impressive top station, which was placed right next to the existing Hoadlhaus. The new Hoadlbahn, with its CD4 Schönbodenbahn and two fixed grip 2-seater chairlifts Hoadl I and Hoadl II, will replace three ropeways at the resort, reducing the number of towers from 44 to 18. LEITNER’s DirectDrive has made an important contribution to even more sustainability, less maintenance, and maximum noise reduction. The new system will carry passengers from the car park to the highest point in the resort in just six minutes. Seventy five spacious Diamond EVO cabins offer ultimate passenger comfort and an allround view of the surrounding mountains and the Inn Valley.
