BD15 St. Ulrich - Seiseralm

The 2S gondola lift was installed in 1999 and replaced two aerial tramways. It was a good alternative to the aerial tramways for the hill with a gradient of 70%. Only two pylons were required. Leitner installed one of its own proven gearbox systems. Leitner was at that time the only company worldwide that produced its own gearboxes. The ropeway to the Alpe di Siusi was the most modern ropeway in Italy in 1999.
